So, my kiddos and I (jay was working and it broke his heart to not be there) ventured down to Cox Park on October 21 where we met with my friend, Chrystal and her daughter Chelcey, and we walked the mile then listened to the reading of every single name of each baby lost. My heart skipped a beat to hear someone I didn't know say my girls name. We released white balloons afterwards which made the tears flow, even Avry Claire was cryng. She hugged me and we held each other as we watched the balloons float up to heaven. A moment I will cherish.
I have a beautiful video but I need Jay's help in the editing dept...does that surprise you?
My pretty girl will be gone a year tomorrow....while I know tomorrow will be a difficult day, I never imagined ((today)) would be emotional. I'm sure my classmates will appreciate my puffy eyes and no make-up tonight! But my feelings are just that...my feelings so I'm going to let the tears roll as I was once told that my tears aren't just for greiving, they are letting my girl know just how much her mommy loves her.
